Basic Diver (Open Water)

 

Aim of the course:

Getting to know freewater diving. after completing the course successfully, you should possess basic knowledge and skills for safe scuba diving in open water.

Minimum age:

12 years, minors need a signed consent form of a parent or guardian.

Required level of training:

CMAS Basic Diver (Sport Diving)

Further requirements:

You need a valid medical statement of fitness for diving. This certificate cannot be older than 2 years, alternatively, from an age of 40 onward not older than 1 year.

Special regulations:

All exercises must be performed in a swimming pool or in open water with conditions similar to those of a swimming pool.

Exercises with Diving Equipment:

1. Dive

Conditions:

  • 3-5m depth
  • at least 15 minutes
  • 1 diver and instructor

2. Dive

Conditions:

  • 3-5m depth
  • at least 15 minutes
  • 1 diver and instructor

 

Testing:

Through instruction and monitoring of the practice dives, the instructor ensures that these are exercised properly.

Certification:

As proof of your achievement, you will get a sticker for your diving pass.
